Hello and welcome to my rapidly expanding Movement Academy or S.H.M.A as we like to be known! We’ve been established since 2011 and pride our selfs in being a warm, fun and friendly family centric community for those budding little stars .

After training professionally at Bird College UK Sarah Had an incredible 15 years career in the performing arts which took her all over the world.

She didn’t stop there though after she stopped performing Sarah choreographed for huge cruise liners and was also the show co-ordinator looking after up to 200 performers at a time in multiple countries!

Sarah is passionate about helping people of all ages so on her return to Lincoln gained all her fitness qualifications to go along side her dance qualifications so she could reach out to more people.

At Sarah Hogan Movement Academy there really is something for everyone and the timetable is expanding all the time to keep up with demand from it’s loyal members.

Meet Sarah’s team

Amy O’ Sullivan

Creative Dance Director 

Amy is a community dance artist based in Lincoln after graduating from her BA(Hons) and Masters in Choreography. Amy has choreographed and performed for many National and local Dance & Theatre companies, including outdoor, platform and festival performances. She has worked across Lincolnshire in the community arts sector and now delivers a variety of styles and disciplines across the county

Kimberly White

Artistic Ballet Director

Kimberley trained in Lincoln from age 5 and was a British Ballet Organisation Scholar and also trained at York Scholarship centre.

She went on to full time dance school at the age of 16 and after gaining distinction for all of her Royal Acaeny of Dance major (vocational) examinations she went on to represent the UK at the Genee international Ballet competition at the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

She went on to dance professionally with Ballet West company where she danced soloist and principal roles in Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty & Romeo & Juliet.

She also did a UK tour of Fame the musical.

Following from her stage career she went on to train as a teacher and gained her British Ballet Organisation teaching Diploma with Distinction.

Kim has taught in vocational and local schools as well as running her own classes and private lessons.

Where are we?

We are proud to be located at St.Botolphs Church Hall  a unique community resource, open to all, where everyone can drop in and enjoy leisure, recreational, social and learning opportunities.

We have a small waiting area where you can relax knowing that your child is in safe hands whilst enjoying a coffee and a catch up with friends.

We are centrally located in Lincoln, which is convenient for shopping, the train station, and Lincoln Town Centre.
