Group Classes

Our classes are kept to a maximum of ten participants so you can each have individual attention and relax knowing that you are in safe hands.

1-2-1 Sessions

In a 1-2-1 Pilates session I can focus my attention on any specific issues you may have, such as back problems or other medical conditions.

What Is Fitness Pilates?

Once called “the best kept secret of the chic, rich, famous and beautiful,” Pilates is now a household name. Fitness Pilates is based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates.

Our Fitness Pilates utilises all of the principals and includes many of the mat work exercises in traditional Pilates, but offers modifications, diversifications and updated exercise prescription to provide a controlled body conditioning program appropriate for everyone.

Who Is Fitness Pilates For?

These classes are for everyone! Whether you are new to exercise, recovering from injury, or an athlete wanting to improve your performance.

My classes are designed to develop muscle tone and strengthen your whole body through a series of flowing movements, the postures and stretches included will aid mobility and relieve the stresses and strains brought on from every day life.

1. Why is Fitness Pilates Good For Me?
It helps to improve muscle tone, helps with back pain and distresses you.
2. What Will I do In Class?
We start with a series of standing exercises to thoroughly warm up those tight muscles, then mat work focusing on the core and finish with some lovely relaxation.
3. I'm Really Unfit Can I Come?
The answer is a positive yes! All my classes are catered to the individual encouraging you to work at your own pace under my expert guidance. Why not try a couple of 1-2-1 sessions with me to build up your confidence?
4. What Should I Wear?
Something that you feel comfortable in and can move freely. T shirts and leggings seem to be the most popular!
5. Do I Need To Bring a Mat?
I do provide mats for you but if you have your own please feel free to bring it along.

Each session is designed to make the maximum use of your time by targeting the deep postural muscles of the body, building strength from the inside out and re-balancing your muscles too. It also promotes a longer, leaner, toned shape, a flat stomach, a strong back and increased mobility and flexibility

6 Week Energise Exhale Engage

This class brings together the key elements of Pilates & Yoga & mindfulness creating a positive  & powerful experience.

Our next six week block starts on Thursday September 13th 6.30-7.30 pm Wednesday September 19th at 11.30-12.30 am & 11.30 pm  at St.Katherines Centre Colegrave Street Lincoln ln5 8dw.

Energise – your body with “Mindful Movement” a blend of key pilates and yoga moves

Engage – those muscles in my core and more section taking time to “Tune In” to your body

Exhale – join me in my chill out zone and take time to “Relax and Unwind”

This class will help to reduce your stress levels also lowering cortisol levels the hormone that help to make us fat! It will help to stretch out those tired stiff bodies and make them strong and will give you time to relax and unwind.

Before going ahead with any 1-2-1 sessions please book in a free consultation call with me so we can have a really good chat about what you needs and goals are. I can also come to your home for convienience.

My 1-2-1  sessions are an essential starting point to learn the correct techniques of Pilates and I recommend  you see me at least twice on a 1-2-1 basis to start with. However many people choose to continue with these more private classes as they feel more comfortable and this is fine!

In a 1-2-1 Pilates session I can focus my attention on any specific issues you may have, such as back problems or other medical conditions. These sessions enable me to learn about you and tailor exercises to meet your needs.

The first time you come, it is a bit like learning how to drive. Each movement pattern is assessed and corrected so that you learn the fundamentals correctly. Your posture, movement patterns and any medical issues you have need to be carefully considered in order to tailor the exercises to you

About Me

All of my life I’ve been dancer and very lucky to have sailed though my early career with out injury, but then I hit my late 40’s (I don’t know how that happened!!) and boom one thing after another.

One of the things that was a vital part in my recovery was Fitness Pilates, I still know now if I’ve not done my pilates stretches as my body feels so stiff!!
